1. Dental Hygienist (part-time position) 

A licensed Dental Hygienist committed to serving the dental care needs of our community.  Job duties include performing dental hygiene procedures, assisting the dentist, educating patients on available dental options, explaining home dental care procedures to patients and providing comforting, sympathetic patient care.  The successful Dental Hygienist candidate needs to possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, a thorough knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene, exceptional human relation skills and an outgoing, friendly personality with patients and dental team members.  The Dental Hygienist position is part-time and compensation is based on experience.  

 

Qualifications:

 

Other Job Requirements of the Dental Hygienist:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene

  • Ability to set up and prepare dental equipment and instruments

  • Excellent understanding of overall dentistry and dental hygienist procedures and protocols

  • Superior communication and patient care skills

  • Knowledge of dental patient screening and medical history documentation

  • Dentrix computer experience a plus

 

2. Dental Assistant (part-time position)

 

The Dental Assistant works chair side making patients feel as comfortable as possible, prepare them for treatment, obtain their dental records and instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.

  • Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.

  • Take, develop and mount dental radiographs (x-rays).

  • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures.

  • Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health.

  • Perform various office tasks as necessary.

 

Minimum Education and Experience:

 

  • Dental Assistant Certificate where state regulations specify.

  • X-ray certification an absolute requirement where state regulations specify.

  • Dental assisting experience preferred.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Resume must demonstrate stable employment history.

 

3. Handicap Equipped Shuttle Van  Driver (full time position)

 

The Shuttle/Van Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of patients in passenger shuttles or vans.  Shuttle/Van Drivers must provide a superior customer service experience for each passenger.  In this visible role, it is important that the Shuttle Driver maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes each customer with a smile. Facilitates their access to and use of the establishment by offering information, direction and assistance.

  • Treats all passengers in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

  • Operates passenger vans/shuttles safely and efficiently.

  • Follows scheduled routes, chartered routes or responds to requests from management for unscheduled pick-ups or drop-offs.

  • Kindly assists passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle.

  • Take extreme care of wheel chair bound patients.

  • Reports accidents, safety situations, vehicle condition, or damage to the Account Manager.

  • Inspects exterior and interior of vehicle at beginning of each shift for properly operating headlights, turn signals, brake lights, interior lighting, air conditioning or heating, mirror adjustment, properly inflated tires, windshield wipers, etc. prior to driving the shuttle/van

  • Ensures that both inside and outside of the vehicle are properly cleaned.

  • Responsible for keeping van or shuttle fueled.

  • Accurately completes driver trip sheet for each shift with information including driver number, vehicle number, number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, destinations, etc.

Skills Required:

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral). 

  • Must be 23 years old or older (for insurance purposes).

  • Possess a valid driver’s license with specific class and endorsement based on the type of shuttle/van according to state requirements.

  • Possess an official motor vehicle record that meets the recommended criteria outlined by our insurance carrier.

  • Able to sit for up to 8 hours per shift.

  • Must be willing to work on weekends

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to complete log and trip sheets.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous manner in keeping with the Curbside philosophy.

  • Problem solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
